Ryan Butler MEnt BSc – Managing Director

Ryan is the entrepreneurial founder of Network Ltd.  With a solid background in information technology, Ryan has steered the development of Network over the past seven years and is now leading the development of the company’s core software, Network Menus™.  Ryan gained a Master of Enterprise (MEnt) in Computer Science and Enterprise from the University of Manchester and UMIST in 2002.  Before this he received a BSc in Computer Science and an HND in Financial Services.  In addition to his experience in starting-up Network Ltd, Ryan has over two years technical sales experience.

David Gould MA (Cantab) – Technical Development Manager

David is a task focused and enthusiastic software developer who has a passion for programming and understanding technology.  He has 5 A-Levels at grade A and graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge with a 2:1 in Computer Science.  He has accumulated nearly 10 years programming experience in Visual Basic which is backed up with in-depth experience of Java, C++, SQL and C#.NET technologies, he now has over five years experience working in a commercial environment.  David ensures all Network products are developed to the highest technical standards.

Edward Laverick BSc (Hons) – Support Manager

Edward is a keen technologist with an interest in implementing the latest technology.  He works hard to achieve Microsoft® certification to ensure he is fully conversant with customers' critical tools.  Edward has a strong background in Technical Support having worked for a company previously in Dundee.  We are now the proud recipients of his talent as he provides customer-focused practical solutions to many problems.

Benjamin Jelley MEng (Hons) – Web Developer

Benjamin is a highly talented developer with a strong engineering background, which brings a new approach to web development.  Benjamin is strongly focused on delivering good quality, solid code which contributes to a reliable platform, and he has practical experience in PHP (Drupal CMS, Joomla CMS, AJAX and Web 2.0 technolgy) and MySQL.  A keen supporter of open source projects and passionate about security and e-commerce on the Internet, Benjamin also helps run a community gaming server to share his talents with others.

James Knibb - Support and Development Services

Before James joined Network, he worked dilligently for a supplier of telecommuncations equipment and services, and was the lead architect of a Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) system.  James‘ knowledge of systems and technologies built over 10 years in a commercial environment allows him to back up the team with “intelligent support” - either fixing problems himself, or pointing his finger in the right direction to allow the team to deliver quicker responses to complex problems.

Ken Butler – Business Development Director

Ken was the Head of Financial Services at Leamington Spa Building Society and since 1991 has founded two successful financial services businesses with financial transactions totalling over £1bn.  He brings a depth of knowledge and high level business experience to Network and is committed to the success of the business.  He holds FCII, DipM and ACIB professional qualifications and is a past President of the Insurance Institute of Coventry.  Until recently he was a non executive director of Bradford & Bingley Pensions (1991) Ltd.
