Network specialises in technical IT development.  From software application development and database development to web development and IT support.  Network develops bespoke software and web solutions for our clients backed up by our indepth knowledge of IT support for all Microsoft operating systems and Linux distributions.  Network is a competent Microsoft Exchange and Active directory administrator as well as a competent database administaror (DBAs).

Network Menus™ is an accessible, easy to use, social or collaborative bookmarking system.  Our system has unique advantages over other social bookmarking systems.  It is always available meaning that relevant related material can be delivered to users as they browse the web.  This means that our users do not repeat research already conducted by others, they are instantly connect to the experts within their organisation or community that can meet their current need.  This therefore saves time and money for the company. 

Network Menus™ has been designed to improve business efficiency through networking the research skills, interests and abilities of an organisation, and delivering this research in a meaningful, relevant way to users.  Network's proprietary technology enables favourites (pagemarks), files, and documents to be collated into ‘Menus’ which can then be searched, updated, and maintained by designated user groups.

Network was formed in July 2002 by Ryan Butler as a result of a Master of Enterprise course at the University of Manchester taken through the Manchester Science Enterprise Centre (MSEC).   The business was formed with the intention of developing internal knowledge management software for businesses.  As Network has grown it has diversified into IT Support, software development and website development. 

Network enjoys doing the technical work; developing technical solutions to enable our clients to achieve their goals.  We work very closely with our clients and are a no-nonsense company! 

We develop predominantly in Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic 6.0, and PHP.  We regularly use Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases.  Network also contributes modules and bug fixes to the Drupal CMS. 

Network uses bug tracking and project tracking web-based tools to manage work, so that our clients can see what is going on.  Network also operates a monthly billing system with itemisation of tasks achieved.
